Alumnus to speak on social entrepreneurship

Aaron Dworkin, founder of the Sphinx Organization, Penn State alumnus and winner of a MacArthur Fellowship — commonly referred to as the "Genius Award" — will present a "Seminar on Social Entrepreneurship" at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in 110 Business Building on the University Park campus. His visit is made possible through a partnership between the Center for the Performing Arts and The Farrell Center for Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and is open to the public.

The Sphinx Organization works to increase the participation of African-Americans and Latinos in music schools, as professional musicians and as classical music audiences. For more information about the group, visit online.
