Singer to make 'legendary' appearance at BJC

University Park, Pa. — Multi-platinum Grammy-Award-winning recording artist John Legend will make a special appearance at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park.

This upcoming John Legend concert marks the artist's first major tour since 2007. Legend's special guest on the tour's initial dates is his Columbia Records' label mate Raphael Saadiq, formerly of Tone Toni Tony, who will be performing songs from his just-released new album, “The Way I See It.”

Legend is touring to support “EVOLVER,” his first full-length studio album in two years. It was released Oct. 28.

Tickets, which cost $49.50, will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. Tickets can be purchased at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Tickets Downtown, Altoona campus Ticket Outlet or by calling (814) 865-5555, or online at http://www.bjc.psu.edu.

Tickets for students are on sale Tuesday (Nov. 11) at noon at the Bryce Jordan Center, HUB-Robeson Center, Eisenhower Auditorium and Penn State Tickets Downtown. A special student price of $20 is included in this presale opportunity.
