Class of 2009's gift to Penn State to be announced Nov. 13

University Park, Pa. -- Penn State’s Senior Class Gift Committee will announce the class of 2009’s gift to the University at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, on the ground floor of the HUB-Robeson Center near the bottom of the main stairs.

"Students and members of the University community are welcome to attend," said Senior Class Gift Committee Chair Liz Kernion, who also noted that cake would be served before the event.

Kernion will speak on behalf of the class of 2009. University administrators expected to attend include Penn State President Graham Spanier.

Seniors voted last week on the following three gift options: the Class of 2009 Undergraduate Trustee Scholarship, the Mount Nittany Vista, and Restoration and Display of the Old Main Bell.
