IST launches new mentoring program

The College of Information Science and Technology's (IST) Office of Diversity, Outreach, and International Engagement and the IST Alumni Society are launching a mentoring program for undergraduate students.

Under the new program, IST juniors and seniors will receive an alumni mentor and freshman and sophomores will receive a junior or senior mentor. Pairings will be made based on major, minor, interests and career plans.

Mentors will be available to discuss career goals, provide feedback on résumés and share their academic and professional experiences. Additionally, alumni society events will be held specifically for mentor program participants.

Registration for the program is now available online. The registration deadline is Friday, Dec. 12. For more information, contact Terry Cummins.
