PA Housing and Land Development Conference set for Feb. 11-12

University Park, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Housing Research Center, located in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Penn State, will hold its 17th Annual Pennsylvania Housing and Land Development Conference on Feb. 11-12, at the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center in Scranton, Pa. The conference is intended to bring together professionals from all sections of the industry including, engineers, architects, landscape architects, builders and manufacturers, as well as state and local governments.

The first day will be devoted to technical issues relating to the design and construction of houses. This year will focus on the Commonwealth adoption of the 2009 International Residential Code.

The second day will focus on design and regulatory issues affecting land development, as well as provide a venue for professionals to network.
