Keith Urban, Sugarland escape to Jordan Center May 9

University Park, Pa. — As if a night with Grammy Award winner Keith Urban, one of the industry’s most explosive and critically hailed live acts, isn’t enough, Urban’s "Escape Together World Tour" stop May 9 at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center will also feature multi-platinum superstars Sugarland.

Tickets are $20, $60 and $81 and are set to go on-sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13. They can be purchased at the Bryce Jordan Center, all Ticketmaster locations, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Tickets Downtown, Penn State Altoona campus ticket outlet, charge by phone at (814) 865-5555 or online at www.bjc.psu.edu. A special meal offer that includes four beef hot dogs and four soft drinks for $20 will be available when purchasing tickets to the event.

Wristbands will be made available from 8-9:30 a.m. Feb. 13 for ticket buyers wishing to purchase tickets at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center only. A randomly drawn number will be selected after 9:30 a.m. to determine the line order.
 
“Sugarland and I are going to give our fans in State College a night to remember,” said Urban. “[It will be] a night where they’ll be able to leave their cares at the door and just let loose for a few hours.”

The new year is already shaping up to be a busy one for Urban. Not only will May mark the launch of a North American concert tour that will visit fifty-eight cities, March 31st will see the release of a new album, "Defying Gravity." The CD’s first single “Sweet Thing,” has already become his 18th Top 5 Country single.
 
A headliner in their own right, Sugarland is sure to perform all of their hits, including their No.1 singles “Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” “Settlin’,” “All I Want To Do” and their most recent No. 1, "Already Gone," from their current CD "Love On The Inside."

Urban and Sugarland are currently slated to appear together on 20 other tour stops.
 
Sugarland (Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush) exploded onto the music scene in 2004 and with their third studio album Love On The Inside they’ve skyrocketed into superstardom. The act has sold more than 5 million records and received trophies from the Grammy, AMA, ACM, CMT and CMA Awards.
