Resident Theatre Company to present 'The Wiz'

The School of Theatre, University Resident Theatre Company at Penn State will present "The Wiz," Feb. 17-28 in the Playhouse Theatre on the University Park campus. Directed by Steve Broadnax, the Broadway musical is an adaptation of the children's tale "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum. Tickets are $10 for preview performances at 8 p.m. Feb. 17 and 19 and $14 for evening shows, which begin at 8 p.m. on opening night Feb. 20, and Feb 21, 24-27. A matinee performance will be presented at 2 p.m. on Feb. 28. Penn State students receive discount admission for $8.50.
