Nationally prominent diversity scholar to speak at University Park

University Park, Pa. -- Daryl G. Smith, professor of education and psychology at the Claremont Graduate University, will speak on “The Imperative of Diversity for Institutional Viability: Building Capacity for a Pluralistic Society,” at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, in the Assembly Room at the Nittany Lion Inn, University Park. Smith is one of the most eminent scholars in the United States on diversity and institutional planning. Her visit is made possible by the Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity.
