Penn State Schuylkill receives $15,000 grant

Penn State Schuylkill received a grant from the Sustainable Energy Fund on Tuesday, April 24. The funds will be used for installing solar panels on the campus. The panels will have the capacity to contribute power to the current energy grid which supplys power to Penn State Schuylkill. Bestowing the funds from SEF were Jennifer Hopkins, president, and John Costlow, director of Technical Services. Accepting the funds on behalf of Penn State Schuylkill were R. Keith Hillkirk, chancellor, Thomas Clearly, instructor of engineering, Michael Gallis, assistant professor of physics and Michael Russell, mechanical and electrical technician.
