Barnstable to speak at Lions' event

Colin Barnstable, D. Phil., chair, Department of Neural and Behavioral Sciences, will speak at the Greater Lebanon Valley Lions Club Research Foundation Presentation, “Reconnecting Nerves, Restoring Sight” at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8, at Lantern Lodge and Convention Center, Routes 501 and 422, Myerstown.

Barnstable will discuss recent advances in protective and regenerative therapies that hold the promise of restoring sight to those suffering from a variety of blinding diseases. Eye health is one of the Lions Club’s missions.
