Commission for Women mentoring program open house set

The Commission for Women's Mentoring Program committee will hold an open house from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, in 420 James M. Elliott Building on the University Park campus.

Since 1999, the mentoring program has promoted professional and personal development by connecting full-time employees (faculty, exempt and nonexempt staff, and technical-service employees) with other Penn State employees who can advise them on their individual and specific professional goals, becoming more effective in their current positions, as well as career advancement. Employees can apply as either mentors or proteges, depending on their needs and goals.

Those who are interested but unable to attend the open house may visit http://www.equity.psu.edu/cfw/programs/mentor.asp for more information or contact the current mentoring program co-chairs, Laurie Schoonhoven, lms28@psu.edu, or Christy Long, acb3@psu.edu.
