Accounting graduate included on roster of exemplary seniors

A graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology's four-year accounting major has been included among the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (PICPA) "Outstanding Seniors" for the year.

Gina M. Indelicarto, of Jersey Shore, was honored in May with the PICPA Award, presented by the college's School of Business and Computer Technologies. The award recipient must display excellence in accounting studies under criteria established by the institute. Indelicarto, a cum-laude graduate, is listed among this year's award winners at PICPA's CPAZone, a Web site exclusively dedicated to Pennsylvania students and educators interested in the accounting profession.

Penn College's accounting majors are dually accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education and the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.

PICPA is an association of more than 19,000 CPAs working to improve the profession and better serve the public. Founded in 1897 and headquartered in Philadelphia, it is the second-oldest CPA organization in the United States. Membership includes practitioners in public accounting, industry, government and education.
