Seminars on computing safety coming to Penn State Abington

The Information Privacy and Security (IPAS) Road Show seminar series is being offered again this fall at Penn State Abington campus on Sept 3. The sessions will provide an overview of the University's information privacy and security initiative and are free of charge to all faculty and staff. To learn more and to register, please visit http://ipas.psu.edu/phase2/education2.html online.

The IPAS Project was tasked as a University-wide, multi-phase initiative geared toward improving the overall security posture at Penn State. As the University moves into the implementation of IPAS Phase II, there are many questions and concerns regarding the individual and departmental impact the security measures may carry. These seminars, available to all Penn State campuses, have been designed to raise awareness about the current initiatives surrounding the protection of institutional data and to address any other areas of interest. The series incorporates several comprehensive sessions, focusing on topics of interest to faculty, staff and information technology staff.
