Food Services encourages students to 'get fit'

"Get Fit Penn State" is a campus-wide campaign to improve student health by promoting nutrition and fitness in the campus' dining commons. Student nutrition assistants from Penn State Food Services and HealthWorks have teamed up to provide weekly activities and special events to help students along their journey to a healthier lifestyle.

The January events and activities will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Findlay Dining Commons in East Halls. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the "BMI Kickoff" on Jan. 11, "Healthy Food at Findlay" on Jan. 12 and 13, "College Health Myths Busted" on Jan. 20, and "Healthiest Drinks" on Jan. 27.
