Comedian Dunham entertains audience

University Park, Pa. -- Ventriloquist comedian Jeff Dunham incited fits of laughter from a large audience in the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday, Jan. 29. The evening included opening musician Brian "Guitar Guy" Haner, and then Dunham with his five puppets of various sizes and and personalities.

Dunham's act first drew laughter via a mock terrorist video publication by one puppet, then a short stand-up bit by just Dunham. The program continued through the end of the performance with puppet characters Walter, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut and Jose the Jalapeno on a Stick. Following intense applause, Dunham returned to the stage with puppet Bubba J for an encore, enlisting audience participation in finishing some of the jokes more well-known to the audience. The program concluded with Dunham launching T-shirts into the packed Jordan Center with an air cannon.
