Office of Global Programs to feature African education abroad programs

University Park, Pa. -- In February, Penn State's University Office of Global Programs (UOGP) is featuring education abroad programs in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania. Students who have participated in those programs and African international students will share their experiences with prospective education abroad students. The participants will have an opportunity to discuss everyday life, culture, sights, sounds and what to expect living in and among a variety of African cultures to aid in deciding on an education abroad experience in Africa.

The program will take place from 5 to 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 25, in the Global Programs Lounge (room 410 of the Boucke Building). For more information, contact Kristin Thomas in the University Office of Global Programs, at klt16@psu.edu.

Education Abroad Programs in Africa qualify for the Whole World Scholarship and the Africa and Latin America Grant-in-Aid. Visit http://gpglobalea.gp.psu.edu/ to learn more about the programs and how to seek financial aid opportunities through UOGP.
