Lehigh Valley students can participate in trip to Washington, D.C.

Penn State Lehigh Valley students can participate in a group trip to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, March 30. The day will include a visit to the Capitol for a tour and brief by a Senate staffer followed by a visit to the Newseum. The Capitol tour will be led by Therese Hammond, instructor of political science, and the Newseum tour will be led by Nichola Gutgold, associate professor of communication arts and sciences. Instead of these group plans, participants can visit the Smithsonian or the National Gallery. The cost of the trip is $5 and interested students are asked to register in the Student Affairs office (room 214) by March 23. The trip is sponsored by the Political Society and the State of the Valley campus newspaper.
