Commission seeks nominations for awards for service to adult learners

The Commission for Adult Learners at Penn State is seeking nominations for two annual awards recognizing excellent service to prospective and enrolled adult learners by faculty and staff throughout the University. The commission will honor these achievements during the Hendrick Best Practices for Adult Learners Conference at University Park on May 10.

Nominations are being sought for the Superior Service to Adult Learners Award, which recognizes an individual or team that has positively affected adult learners through direct service or by improving the campus environment for adult learners, and for the Outstanding Adult Learner Recruitment or Retention Program Award, which recognizes an outstanding recruitment or retention program that provided significant benefit to adult learners during the 2009-10 academic year.
