Haiti Medical Mission Trip Team to Speak About Caring for Survivors

Members of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center team who joined the first Operation Smile/Partners in Health-sponsored medical mission trip to Haiti in January and February will talk about their experience during an evening presentation and question-and-answer session on Monday, March 15 in the Edward P. “Ted” Junker III Auditorium on the Penn State Hershey Medical Center campus.

The presentation, which will be seld by the Penn State College of Medicine Global Health Center and sponsored by the Department of Humanities and Office of the Dean and CEO, begins at 7 p.m. It will feature photographs taken by J. Spence Reid, professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation, and Medical Center team leader.

Light refreshments will be available at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees should follow the “event parking” signs from the University Drive entrance of the Medical Center and use the North Entrance to get to the event location.
