In advance of their March 24 performance at New York City's Carnegie Hall at this year's Penn State President's Concert, the Penn State Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra will be performing a free sendoff concert.

At 8 p.m. on March 22, in Eisenhower Auditorium on Penn State's University Park campus, the orchestra will perform three selections: "Obertura para el 'Fausto' Criollo, Op. 9 (Overture to the Creole 'Faust')" by Alberto Ginastera, "Pini di Roma (Pines of Rome)" by Ottorino Respighi and "Symphony No. 3 in A Minor, Op. 44" by Sergei Rachmaninov.
