Engineering Graduate Student Council hosts research symposium April 1

University Park, Pa. -- The Engineering Graduate Student Council (EGSC) is for students interested in learning more about cutting-edge research being conducted in engineering and science at Penn State, as well as the opportunity to network with faculty and industry representatives on a smaller, more personal level than the usual recruitment fairs.

Penn Staters attracted to research and opportunities should join the Engineering Graduate Student Council (EGSC) and attend the 7th Annual College of Engineering Research Symposium (CERS 2010)  from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 1 at The Nittany Lion Inn. Everyone is welcome to attend for as long as they choose.This year’s event features:

·         Oral and poster presentations from Penn State students
·         A catered luncheon with a keynote address by David Nye, Director of Research and Development at Dresser-Rand
·         A professional networking reception with Penn State faculty and industry representatives
