Penn State's Williamsport Center celebrates new location

Williamsport, Pa. -- The Penn State Williamsport Center will hold an open house and adult learner information session at its new location at 1020 Commerce Park Drive in Water Tower Square Complex from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 14. The public is invited.

“Our goal is to help build a strong local talent base for employers by enabling adults to pursue a college degree or keep up with the latest knowledge and skills in their field, all close to home,” said Sue Greene, director of the Penn State Williamsport Center.

At 5:30 p.m., Bill Fritz, assistant director of admissions, will give an overview of Penn State Continuing and Distance Education. Current students and faculty members will also be in attendance to share their experiences, and Continuing Education staff will be available for individual appointments to explain the admissions and financial aid process and answer any questions about enrolling in Penn State courses.

The Williamsport Center offers a wide range of Penn State undergraduate and graduate education programs that can be taken at the center and combined with online programs to complete a degree or certificate.
