Jiang earns award from American Society for Investigative Pathology

Kun Jiang, from Penn State Hershey Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, was recently awarded an Abraham Sobel Trainee Travel Award by the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP). The competitive selection process included trainee candidates from many institutions in the United States and other countries. This award will support some of the costs for Jiang to present his research at ASIP's annual meeting in Anaheim, Calif., this April.

Jiang also was awarded a position as an editorial intern by the journal Laboratory Investigation. Laboratory Investigation is ranked eighth among 68 pathology journals and has an impact factor of 4.58. Jiang was among a small number of pathology residents selected for this honor in an international competition.
