Faculty members complete 15th annual Road Scholars Tour

After a three-day trip into eastern Pennsylvania, including stops in Philadelphia, Hershey and Harrisburg, and at Penn State's Berks, Abington, Hershey and Great Valley campuses, participants in the 15th annual Road Scholars Tour returned to University Park on May 12.

About 50 new or newly tenured faculty took part in this year's tour, which each year highlights Penn State's Commonwealth Campuses, Cooperative Extension and the University's impact across Pennsylvania. The tour included stops at industrial, agricultural and historic sites, including Carpenter Technologies in Reading, Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square and the Pennsylvania Capitol Building in Harrisburg.
