'The Business of Art' to help artists, craftsmen hone business skill

Special workshops designed to help artists and fine craftsmen hone their business skills will be offered by Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus on Saturday, June 12, at Touchstone Center for Crafts in Farmington, Pa.

The morning session from 9 a.m. to noon will be "Publicity and Promotion," presented by Susan Brimo-Cox, director of public relations at Penn State Fayette and a regional artist. National award-winning artist Darlene Durrwachter-Rushing will present the afternoon session, "Working with Galleries," from 1-4 p.m. Pre-registration is required for these workshops.

The Business of Art program is a partnership between the Fayette campus and Touchstone, and is designed for artists and craftsmen of all levels of expertise. Additional workshops covering other topics will be presented in July and August. Students taking multiple workshops receive a discount.
