Fullington announces free trial offer for new weekday commuters

Fullington Trailways, based in State College and Clearfield, Pa., has announced that it will provide a free trial offer to new riders traveling weekdays on its round-trip bus service from the Duncansville, Altoona and Tyrone areas to Penn State and downtown State College.

Now through the end of summer, area residents traveling within the corridor can try the service for free by taking advantage of a complementary 10-trip frequent rider pass (equivalent to five round-trips). New riders can print off a coupon to redeem this complementary pass at the Fullington Trailways website, http://www.fullingtontours.com/ online. Riders can present this coupon at any stop location and receive a pass valid that day. Passes are valid through Friday, Sept. 3, and there is a limit of one free pass per person.

The service consists of two morning trips from Altoona (with stops in Duncansville, Altoona and Tyrone) to State College, with drop off points at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State's University Park campus, the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) bus stop at the Pattee Library Transit Center on Curtin Road, and the State College Bus Terminal located at 152 North Atherton Street. A late afternoon trip returns from the Bus Terminal at 4:55 p.m. (with stops at Rec Hall on Curtin Road at 5:05 p.m. and the Bryce Jordan Center at 5:15 p.m.) to the same stops in Tyrone, Altoona and Duncansville.

For additional information on this Altoona-State College intercity bus service, including fares, a detailed schedule and route, and more, and to print off your coupon, visit the Fullington Trailways website or contact Milt Weisman at 814-765-7871 or milt@fullingtontours.com.
