Commission for Women to hold annual fall kick-off Sept. 30

University Park, Pa. -- Penn State's Commission for Women's annual fall kick-off is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, in Robb Hall at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. Appointed and affiliate members are encouraged to attend. The event is open to all students, faculty and staff interested in learning about and contributing to the commission's efforts this year.

The Commission for Women was established in 1981 to serve as an advisory group to the President on issues affecting women and to guide the University in its efforts to enhance the status of women at Penn State. The commission advocates for programs and policies that enhance the working and learning environments for women students, faculty and staff members, technical service employees and administrators.
