Office of Continuing Education will offer engineering review course

Penn State Beaver’s Office of Continuing Education offers comprehensive PE and EIT review courses for engineers who are preparing for their professional licensure examinations. Review sessions provide subject matter that prepares engineers to sit for the national exams. Courses employ a comprehensive collection of questions and answers from past exams while familiarizing participants with exam formats and procedures. In addition, all programs require participants to spend time out of class to review material and solve homework problems.

A review course in Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer-In-Training will be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, from Sept. 28, 2010 through March 29, 2011 at the PennDOT Office in Bridgeville. Topics will include mathematics, statics, mechanics of materials, dynamics, electrical circuits and engineering ethics.

To register, contact the Beaver campus Office of Continuing Education at bjb23@psu.edu or beaverce@psu.edu, 724-773-3761, or visit www.beaver.psu.edu.
