Allergy medication study seeks volunteers

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Timothy Craig, D.O., is evaluating the effect of a new experimental medication on presumptive cold symptoms in those who also have asthma. Volunteers are needed for this research study.

Eligible participants will be 18-70 years old with a diagnosis of asthma for the past two years and be on steady doses of asthma medications. Volunteers should also have a history of asthma symptoms worsening with a cold.

Participation requires attending clinic visits, taking study medication as directed, completing a diary, and answering questionnaires.

Compensation is provided.

This research study, IRB 34534, has been approved by the Institutional Review Board, under federal regulations at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine.
