LionCare medical clinic encourages volunteer involvement

LionCare is a free medical clinic at the Bethesda Mission in Harrisburg run by a group of medical students at the Penn State College of Medicine. The clinic has been serving the Harrisburg area since January 2002. All of LionCare’s services, including complete physical exams, health screenings, and educational health information, are free. To continue providing health care to this underserved community, LionCare relies on the knowledge and skills of physician and resident volunteers and on generous monetary donations from members of the community. To learn more about LionCare or to find out how you can get involved as a physician, student, or community member, visit the website and newsletter at http://www.pennstatehershey.org/web/lioncare/home/aboutus online.
