Dusinberre Distinguished Lecture to focus on Canadian nuclear reactors

John Luxat, a faculty member at Canada's McMaster University, will present "Severe Accidents in Canada Deuterium Uranium Reactors: Phenomena and Uncertainty" at 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 in 113 IST Building as part of the Dusinberre Distinguished Lecture Series.

The event is free and open to the public. The Dusinberre Distinguished Lecture Series was created in memory of Lawrence Hochreiter, late professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering at Penn State.

Luxat is a professor and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada/University Network of Excellence in Nuclear Engineering Chair in Nuclear Safety Analysis at McMaster.
