Middletown students visit the College of Medicine

Twenty-one Middletown Area High School Students of the Health and Science Careers Pathway spent a day at Penn State College of Medicine recently, performing experiments and learning about science-related careers as part of Shadowing Day. The event dovetailed with a program supported by the NIH Science Education Partnership Award of Judith Bond, a program that has hosted Middletown students during the summer for the past two years. The grant is focused on exposing students to science and encouraging them to consider careers in health fields.
