Alumni Association sponsors official tour to Outback Bowl

University Park, Pa. — It’s official. The Nittany Lions will be playing Florida in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1. Now, Penn State alumni, students and fans can begin making plans to travel to Tampa, Fla., with the “Official Penn State Bowl Tour,” sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association.

A number of airfare-inclusive and land-only tour packages are available as part of the “Official Penn State Bowl Tour.” The “Official Penn State Bowl Tour” features four packages available to alumni and other Penn State fans:

-- The three-night “Blue & White Deluxe” package includes accommodations at the Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina, a welcome reception, a pre-game event, ground transportation to and from the game and the pep rally, a post-game gathering, a special commemorative item and a game ticket. This package is available with or without charter airfare out of Harrisburg, Pa., or State College, Pa.

-- The two-night “Blue & White Standard” package is a land-only package that includes accommodations at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel,  a pre-game event, a special commemorative item, ground transportation to and from the game and a game ticket.

-- The “Lion Student Tour” includes a game ticket, two nights lodging at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel, and ground transportation to and from the game. Student packages with a bowl game ticket are open to all current Penn State students.

-- The “Game-Day Package” includes a ticket, transportation to and from the game and the pre-game event.

With the exception of the “Game-Day Package,” all packages can be purchased with or without game tickets.
