Visit the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital's Healthy Families exhibit near the Culinary Connection stage in the main hall at the 2011 Pennsylvania Farm Show through Jan. 15. The Farm Show is held in the Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg. With funding from Kohl’s Department Stores, this year’s exhibit will highlight the Kohl’s Healthy Choices for Healthy Families program.
Youth and families can take part in interactive stations: a portion size quiz, a bean bag toss game, and a jumping jacks challenge, to earn prizes. To support the program’s healthy living message, free family resources will be distributed including a portion placemat, youth fitness DVD, tips on portion size and reading nutrition facts labels, and much more.
