Heart and Vascular Institute announces weight management program

With a proven track-record of helping participants understand when and why they are eating, Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute’s Weight Management Program invites people to enroll now for its 20th class, which starts on Feb. 2.

Since the inaugural session in 2004, more than 300 people have enrolled in the comprehensive, 12-week program, led by noted experts in the fields of behavioral modification, nutrition and exercise. In a dynamic small group setting, the team helps program participants identify factors of weight gain and develop strategies for losing weight and keeping it off.

For more information on the cost and to register, call 800-243-1455. Employees of Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center can apply for reimbursement for program cost following completion of the program. Graduates of this program also can participate in a monthly support group at no additional cost.
