Expert to offer advice on achieving career fair success

Ronald G. Johnson, a faculty member in the Smeal College of Business and College of Engineering, will present “Extreme Career Fair Preparation: Learn What Recruiters Won't Tell You and Achieve Maximum Career Fair Success” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, in Foster Auditorium, first floor, Paterno Library. Johnson has coached thousands of individuals on their careers and has presented on career topics nationally. He teaches leadership, communication and team and career development.

The Spring Career Fair, which will be held Feb. 15-16 in the Bryce Jordan Center, is a prime time to network and pursue internships or full-time positions. Johnson’s presentation will offer valuable information that will help students maximize their success during the event. He will focus on resume success keys, interviewing skills, how students should present themselves to recruiters and much more. There will also be many useful handouts for students to take away. The event is free and open to the public.
