The annual elegant evening of food and wine pairing to benefit the Penn State Hershey Dermatology Research Endowment Fund will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, at the Purcell Friendship Hall, William E. Dearden Alumni Campus, 109 McCorkel Road, Hershey, Pa. This year’s theme is “A Taste of California” and the evening begins with a selection of hors d’oeuvres and a fine wine. The wine educator will then guide participants through a selection of wines with the appropriate food pairing. The evening ends on a sweet note with a delicious dessert and a wine to match. There also will be a silent auction featuring wines and vacation destinations.
Tickets are $150 per person which includes wine tastings with an educator, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert. Reservations are due by April 6 by calling 717-531-8307, option 3. Black tie is optional.
