Advisory board chair's efforts recognized

Carol Sabatini, outgoing advisory board chair at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, was recently presented with a Nittany Lion sculpture in recognition of her service to the campus.

A member of the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Advisory Board since 1994, Sabatini received the Hayfield Award for Volunteerism for chairing a year-long University project to assess the needs of the campus in order to establish five-year goals in 1998. Serving as the advisory board chair since 2009, she continued to strengthen her support of the campus.

A resident of Wyoming, Pa., Sabatini is an inveterate world traveler and remains active in volunteer organizations as time allows.
