Mechanical engineering's Yetter wins AIAA award

Richard Yetter, professor of mechanical engineering, has been selected to receive the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) 2011 Propellants and Combustion Award.

Yetter was cited for his contributions to combustion science and technology for aerospace propulsion and energies.

He is slated to receive his award at the 47th AIAA/American Society of Mechanical Engineers/Society of Automotive Engineers/American Society of Engineering Educators Joint Propulsion Conference and Exhibit on Aug. 3 in San Diego.
