Despite the preoccupation with fun summer activities, the need for blood remains constant, with accidents, surgeries and other medical problems that require blood products to save lives never taking a summer break.
Everyone who attempts to donate blood at either of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Blood Donor Center locations on Tuesday, Aug. 9, or Tuesday, Aug. 23, will receive a voucher for a free pint of delicious Bruster’s ice cream. Appointments must be made for the 35 Hope Drive and third floor Medical Center Blood Donor Centers.
