Ag Progress Days highlights advances, achievements in agriculture

Penn State's 2011 Ag Progress Days highlighted many of the latest advances in agricultural and natural sciences. The three-day event provided visitors a wide range of exhibits and demonstrations while also offering some fun activities.

On Aug. 17, Ag Progress Days hosted the annual Government and Industries Luncheon at the facilities special events building. Guest speakers included Penn State President Graham B. Spanier along with Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett.

Now in its 43rd year, Ag Progress Days is an annual showcase for Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences and Agriculture Extension staff and educators, displaying Penn State's impact on the agricultural industry statewide.
