Known for its tasty wraps and sandwiches, Fresh Express, on the second floor of Findlay Commons, will be adding healthier toppings and sides to its made-to-order sandwich bar. It also will include a fresh fruit bar with a wide variety of berries, nuts and yogurt.

But the biggest addition to its healthy roster is the Fresh Express Balanced Plate. Every day, there will be a featured entrée. Students can choose two sides to go along with chicken or fish. Any combination will be less than 400 calories. Entrees include bruschetta chicken, chicken Parmesan, island grilled fish and more. Sides include vegetables, rice, pasta and more.

Fresh Express's Mongolian grill also received a makeover. In its place is a huge salad bar where customers can create their own salad masterpieces or enjoy a daily feature. There also will be a pho bar featuring a rich broth and an array of vegetables to add to it. Healthy grab 'n go options also will be available for students on the go.
