Janet Melnick, Penn State Worthington Scranton's program coordinator for Human Development and Family Studies, presented Tim Arcaro with a Nittany Lion statue following his presentation at the annual lecture for this discipline this past spring. Arcaro, a campus alumnus and professor of law at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., recently established a fund to support Human Development and Family Studies program initiatives at the Worthington Scranton campus.
A respected law professional, Arcaro has lectured extensively on professional responsibility, domestic violence, child advocacy and developing clinical legal education programs. He also has received numerous awards in recognition of his expertise and accomplishments. He visited the campus to share his knowledge and expertise to current HDFS students and faculty.
