Author interview: William Butler on 'The Russian Legal Practitioner'

The legal profession in Russia has been elevated “into the stratosphere” explained Professor William E. Butler, author of "The Russian Legal Practitioner." The new book is a comprehensive summary of the practice in law in Russia and the first in any language on this topic. In this interview he explained the effect of Russia’s transition to a market economy, legal ethics in Russia, and the value of an LL.M. Butler is the John Edward Fowler Distinguished Professor of Law and International Affairs at Penn State Law and the School of International Affairs.
