Faculty, staff invited to fifth annual THON luncheon Nov. 15

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Tuesday, Nov. 15, marks the fifth annual THON Faculty and Staff Luncheon, held at the Hintz Family Alumni Center on the University Park campus. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend the free luncheon and are encouraged to come and go at their convenience from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The luncheon will feature guest speakers from the Four Diamonds Fund, offering various perspectives on how the fund has personally impacted their lives. In addition, a brief presentation will be given about THON’s impact on the fund and how faculty and staff can join the fight against pediatric cancer.

THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world and has raised more than $78 million for the Four Diamonds Fund. The fund offers financial and emotional support and awareness for children and families fighting pediatric cancer. This fund also supports research conducted at the Penn State College of Medicine toward finding a cure.

Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 28, to Samantha Musumeci at samantha.musumeci@gmail.com. For more information about THON, please visit http://www.THON.org online.
