Housing information sessions available in November for students

Students interested in on- or off-campus housing next school year can attend one of four information sessions provided by Penn State Housing, Residence Life and the Office of Off-Campus Living to learn about deadlines and options, and the best ways to get the living arrangements they want.

The sessions will cover types of on-campus housing available, as well as important contract information and deadlines. There also will be a walk-through demonstration of the eLiving process, which includes information about how to submit a Housing Contract, choose a residence hall area/roommate preference, and more. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions with a representative from housing. On-campus housing is not guaranteed for any student, so it's important to learn what options are available on and around campus.

A representative from the Office of Off-Campus Housing will be at each session to provide information on living off campus, resources for working with landlords and other useful information.

Housing Fair

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 22, the Office of Off-Campus Housing is holding a Housing Fair in Alumni Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center. Students can learn more about housing options, meet with Penn State Housing officials and off-campus landlords from around town. This is a nonsigning event that gives students a chance to learn about the intricacies of leases. It also gives them an opportunity to chat with landlords who rent area apartments, Penn State Housing and the Office of Off-Campus Housing.
