Penn State Altoona recognizes gift with scoreboard dedication

Penn State Altoona celebrated one of the largest gifts ever designated for support of its Intercollegiate Athletics program with the dedication of the Reliance Bank Scoreboards in the Adler Athletic Complex gymnasium on Oct. 3. Guests enjoyed tailgate fare, an appearance by the Nittany Lion mascot and a variety of spirited graphics displayed on the gym’s two new scoreboards.

Penn State Altoona recognized a $110,000 gift from Reliance Bank with naming rights to two new scoreboards in the gym and placement of the Reliance Bank brand on the gym floor. The scoreboards feature a message center and cutting-edge statistical display. The scoreboards will retain high visibility among the diverse audiences that visit the gymnasium for a host of sporting contests, campus activities, and special events that are open to the public.
