Penn State pay vouchers 'going green' in 2012

As part of continuing efforts to promote sustainability and conserve resources across the University, the Penn State Payroll Office has announced that employee pay vouchers will be made available exclusively online beginning in 2012. The vouchers will be available electronically through the Employee Self-Service Information Center (ESSIC), at online.

In order to save money on printing and delivery costs, distribution of paper pay vouchers will be discontinued for all employees who have access to ESSIC. The pay voucher available on ESSIC contains all information currently available on the paper receipt, and permits Penn State employees to view and print pay information from the comfort of their home. To access an electronic pay voucher:

-- Go to online.

-- Click the tab in the middle of the page that reads, "Continue to ESSIC."

-- Enter Penn State WebAccess user ID and password, and click "log in."

-- Click on the "payroll" tab in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

-- Choose "pay check inquiry" from the vertical menu on the left-hand side of the page.

-- Click "select" to review your most recent pay voucher,

-- OR choose a specific prior pay date from the drop-down menu above the "select" button to review older vouchers.

-- To log out, click the yellow "log out" button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
