The Penn State Lion Ambassadors will hold their annual campus Lantern Tours from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Oct. 28. Tours will begin at Old Main; attendees can arrive any time between 7 and 9 p.m.
The nighttime tours by lantern light bring Penn State’s history to life and are designed to be a good time for students, faculty, staff and community members alike. Characters from Penn State’s history, such as past University presidents and 19th century students, will visit the group along the way. Participants will learn about some of the most important traditions and events in Penn State’s past, and those who have attended before should notice changes in the tour route and will see new characters along the way. Free food and entertainment will be available before the tour.
