Children's Miracle Network Miracle Ball set for Nov. 19

Help create miracles for pediatric patients and attend the 22nd annual "Thanks for Giving" Miracle Ball on Saturday, Nov. 19, at The Hershey Lodge. The ball begins at 6 p.m. with a reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, dancing, and entertainment provided by Group Du Jour.

The auction will feature dozens of items including tickets for sporting and entertainment events, autographed sports memorabilia, designer jewelry and handbags, weekend getaways, pottery painted by Miracle Children, a guitar signed by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, GIANT Center suite tickets, and much more. During the event, guests will have a chance to win a “His and Her” luxurious getaway, which includes an overnight stay at the five-star Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa in western Pennsylvania, golf clubs, and diamond earrings -- a prize package worth $4,000. During the program and dinner, Miracle Child Sammy Hill and her family will share how Children’s Hospital helped Sammy after she was critically injured when a tree branch fell 70 feet onto her head. Rick Herring, president of GIANT Food Stores, will be presented with the inaugural Miracle Innovator Award for his outstanding leadership and commitment to Children’s Miracle Network.

As a thank you for your support of Children’s Miracle Network throughout the year, Medical Center and College of Medicine employees, Children’s Miracle Network volunteers and Miracle Families have the opportunity to purchase tickets at a special reduced rate of $125 per ticket.

Children’s Miracle Network would like to thank the event’s top sponsors: GIANT Food Stores, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, Highmark Blue Shield, Johnson Controls, Kraft Foods and The Hershey Company.

Dress is black-tie optional. To reserve tickets or donate an auction item, call the Children’s Miracle Network office at 717-531-6606. Visit PennStateHershey.org/CMN for additional information.
